After a rough loss to sister league Tampa earlier in the day, DSDG came out on the track on fire and with something to prove. From the first whistle strong jamming by The Merchant of Menace and Hollicidal set Atlanta apart. Your athletes in baby blue and red had a 46-17 lead after a little over ten minutes into the game. Hazed and Contused and Magic Missile from Dairyland answered back with their own power jams, and Madison blockers Mack the Knife and Charlie Hustle helped the Dolls come back to nearly tie the game at halftime, with Atlanta holding a small lead of 70-66. Early in the second half, key blocks by Desi Scarnaz and Agent Maulder combined with a Merchant of Menace 24-point power jam gave Atlanta a more comfortable lead at 102-66. Madison rallied with some Atlanta penalty trouble, coming back to a score of 118-112 with under ten minutes to go, but even the jamming and blocking prowess of the veteran Mouse was unable to get them the win. Atlanta ends with the W, 147-125, improving their 2012 record to 3-2.
Players of the Game were Hollicidal for Atlanta and Mack The Knife for Madison.
